Rose Tharakan is a Chicago-based ABA therapist originally from Kerala, India. After graduating from University of Illinois Chicago, Rose started working as an ABA therapist and enjoys working with children in both the classroom and home settings. Rose is an aspiring medical student who is interested in both pediatrics and psychiatry.
In addition to working on the SBS therapy team, Rose also works as a certified pharmacy technician and as a research assistant with the organization called MAMAS, where her work primarily focuses on working with the mothers of the falsely incarcerated.
Rose spends her free time volunteering at the Pediatric ICU at UI health. She also actively volunteers at METRO achievement center as a tutor and enjoys volunteering as a pharmacy technician and phlebotomy technician at Community Health Clinic.
Fun Fact: In her spare time, Rose enjoys knitting and going for long runs.
