Colleen is a Chicago-based ABA therapist from Elmhurst, Illinois. She studied at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she completed a double major in Psychology and Spanish. She spent one of her undergrad years studying at the University of Barcelona, where she also interned teaching English. After graduation, Colleen spent two years living in London where she worked as a special educational needs coordinator and developed her passion for working with children with additional learning needs.
Colleen has been an ABA therapist since 2017 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in ABA from National Louis University. In addition to her clinical experience, she volunteered at Rush University Medical Center’s Autism Assessment Treatment & Services where she assisted with current ASD research.
Fun Fact:Colleen is an avid reader of books written by individuals on the autism spectrum and is passionate about learning everything she can to understand her clients and using that knowledge to empower families she works with.
