Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specializing in the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education with an Emphasis in Autism from San Diego State University. She entered the field in 2011 and as of 2020 is a practicing Board Certified Behavior Analyst with experience delivering ABA therapy to with learners from 2 to 22 years old in home, clinic, residential, and school settings.
She started her career at The Walden School at the Emory Autism Center in Atlanta, GA, where she started as an ABA therapist before being promoted to Classroom Coordinator. Since then, she has worked in ABA in Northern Illinois and then worked at ABA companies in San Diego since 2010 before returning to Chicago in 2024, where she is happy to spend more time with her amazing nieces and nephews.
Caroline’s approach prioritizes the values of the child and family to support them in what matters to them most. She also believes that we all learn best when we feel safe and supported and that taking time to build trust and create strong social connections with the children and families we serve is a vital component of any intervention plan.
Fun Facts: Caroline is an avid birder, and her favorite bird is the bobolink. She happened to come across 19 California Condors in the wild, flying around Marble Canyon, AZ. She also loves spending time with her husband and 3 papillons.
