Miranda is an ABA therapist, possessing RBT certification. Born and raised in Chicago, Miranda has been with SBS since 2021. Miranda began her work with children by volunteering at Chicago Park Districts as a lead for many years. She always knew she wanted to work directly with children on the autism spectrum after learning of her nephew’s autism diagnosis. She was given the opportunity to learn more about kids on the spectrum when starting her work as an ABA therapist at a center back in 2019. Miranda possesses center-based, home-based, and school setting experience supporting children ages three through eleven.
Miranda earned RBT certification in the beginning of 2024 and remains strongly passionate about continuing a career path in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Fun fact: Miranda loves hanging out with her pets in her free time! She has three cats and one dog….with hope to rescue more soon!
