Program data is frequently reviewed by your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and changes are made to your child’s program based upon where the support is most needed. This process ensures the most effective treatment program is in place resulting in meaningful learning for your child to reach his/her goals.
Parents Role in ABA Therapy
ABA therapy with SBS recognizes the importance of parent collaboration. We involve the family from the start and listen to your concerns and goals for your child. Parents are encouraged to participate in therapy sessions and receive training so that they can implement the effective teaching strategies with their child when the therapy team is not around. This consistency across care helps your child reach his/her goals much faster. Furthermore, research studies have shown that when parents are actively engaged and involved with their child’s therapy, the child will make more progress.

SBS’s program offers therapy in your home or in your child’s school setting, depending upon their individual needs. Therapy across settings allows your child to become as fully integrated as possible into their home, school and community settings.
